Mark Bodmer, a former executive at GlaxoSmithKline Plc, has joined UCB SA as vice president and head of immunology at the Belgian company’s new medicines unit. Mr Bodmer will be based in Slough, UK and will report to Ismail Kola, executive vice president of UCB and president of UCB NewMedicines. At GSK he was senior vice president immunoinflammation, medicines, discovery and development. The appointment takes effect on 3 January 2012.
