Lynn Elsenhans has been appointed a non-executive director of GlaxoSmithKline Plc, effective 1 July. She was most recently chair, president and chief executive officer of Sunoco Inc, a transportation fuel provider in the US. Prior to joining Sunoco she worked for Royal Dutch Shell, latterly as executive vice president for global manufacturing.
Also joining the board as a non-executive director is Jing Ulrich. Ms Ulrich is currently managing director and chairman of global markets and China at J.P. Morgan.
GSK announced the appointments on 3 May 2012.
