Karen Harrison, an experienced business executive, has been named chief operating officer for therapeutics at Avacta Group Plc which is developing diagnostics and drugs for cancer. She will be responsible for supporting research and development across the UK company’s division for therapeutic products. Among her past positions was as vice president for talent at Astellas Pharma Inc.
Avacta announced the appointment on 28 March 2023.
