John Brown, a veteran pharmaceutical company executive, has been appointed chairman of the UK Cell Therapy Catapult centre, a new incubator for cell therapy products.
Mr Brown is formerly chief executive and finance director of Acambis Plc and former
chairman of BTG Plc. The incubator will be located at Guy’s Hospital in London. It is being overseen by the UK Technology Strategy Board.
The Technology Strategy Board announced the appointment on 4 September 2012.
