Joep Muijrers has joined Gilde Healthcare in the Netherlands to lead the firm’s investments in publicly-traded companies in the life sciences sector. He was previously chief financial officer and head of portfolio strategy at PureTech Health Plc, a venture capital firm, and before that, a portfolio manager at Life Sciences Partners. Dr Muijrers holds a PhD in molecular biology from the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany and a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands.
Gilde Healthcare announced the appointment on 2 June 2021.
