BTG Plc has appointed Garry Watts, chairman of the Spire Healthcare, a group of private UK hospitals, as non-executive chairman, effective 1 January 2012. Mr Watts will succeed John Brown.
The new non-executive chairman is the senior independent director at Stagecoach Group Plc and a non-executive director of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. He is also a former executive director of Medeva Plc and Celltech Group Plc, both now part of UCB SA of Belgium.
