Heptares Therapeutics Ltd has appointed Daniel Grau to the position of president, reporting the chief executive, Malcolm Weir. Mr Grau has been a senior advisor to Heptares since 2010, but now will have broad responsibilities for corporate and commercial development. Mr Grau is currently a member of the product advisory board of Concert Pharmaceuticals Inc. Previously he was president and CEO of Cortria Corporation, chief operating officer of CombinatoRx Inc, and a business consultant to Pharmacia Corporation (now Pfizer). He earned a bachelor of arts degree from Davidson College and an MPhil from Yale University, both in the US.
