Creabilis SA of Luxembourg, which is developing dermatological products that have low systemic risk, has appointed Alex Leech as vice president, head of finance and operations, as part of an expansion of its senior management team. Mr Leech was most recently head of operations at Solace Pharmaceuticals Inc and before that, head of European project management at Pfizer Inc.
Creabilis has also appointed James Sandy as senior vice president, head of development, and Peter Spargo as senior vice president for chemistry manufacturing and controls.
Mr Sandy previously worked at Pfizer as development team leader of the company’s GI portfolio and also as head of development operations in Europe and Asia. Dr Spargo was senior vice president for chemistry manufacturing and controls at Novexel (now AstraZeneca) and has also worked at Pfizer as head of chemical process R&D for its European section.
