MagForce AG, a medical technology company, has appointed Christian von Volkmann as head of finance. Mr von Volkmann has worked for many years in the biotech and pharma industries. In 2009, as chief financial officer of Jerini AG, he completed that company’s successful sale to Shire Plc. Mr von Volkmann holds a diploma from the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg where he studied business administration. He also qualified as a certified public accountant in the US.
MagForce works in the field of nanomedicine for oncology. The company announced the appointment on 3 May 2012.
