Anergis SA, a Swiss vaccine developer, has appointed Jacques-François Martin as chairman of its board of directors. Mr Martin is chairman and chief executive of Mymetics Corp. Previously, he was chief executive of Chiron Vaccines, now part of Novartis, and before that chief executive of Pasteur-Mérieux, now part of Sanofi-Pasteur. Mr Martin is a member of the French Academy of Technologies and an officer in the French Order of Merit.
Anergis announced the appointment on 1 February 2012.
