Alan Hippe, chief financial officer and a member of the executive board of ThyssenKrupp AG, has been appointed CFO of the Roche Group. He will succeed Erich Hunziker, who is retiring from the company at the end of March 2011. Mr Hippe will join Roche as a member of the corporate executive committee as of April 2011. Prior to joining ThyssenKrupp, Mr Hippe was a member of the executive board of Continental AG.
