Adam David George, financial controller at GW Pharmaceuticals Plc since 2007, will become the company’s finance director effective 1 June following the departure of David Kirk. Before joining GW Pharmaceuticals, Mr George was finance director at Believe It Group Ltd (now 4Com Plc), a telecommunications service provider, and group financial accountant at Allied Domecq Plc. He qualified as a chartered accountant in 1995, having trained with Price Waterhouse Coopers. He holds a BSc in biology from Bristol University.
Mr George’s appointment was announced on 5 April 2012.
