Achim Kaufhold has joined the Swedish company Hansa Biopharma AB as chief medical officer. Professor Kaufhold has specialised in immunology, infectious diseases and oncology across his career, most recently was CMO at Basilea Pharmaceutica AG. Hansa develops enzyme technology for the treatment of rare autoimmune conditions, transplant rejection and cancer. Prof Kaufhold studied medicine at the University of Cologne in Germany.
