Svein Lien, former chief executive officer of Axis-Shield Plc, has been appointed the new chief executive of Biotec Pharmacon ASA in Norway. He replaces Lars Viksmoen, who has stepped down from the position. Mr Lien has extensive experience in the diagnostics business as well as a background in finance. Biotec Pharmacon is developing pharmaceutical products for the treatment of immune-related diseases.
