Vienna-based Hookipa Biotech AG has appointed Torsten Mummenbrauer to head business development for its portfolio of immune therapies and vaccines. Dr Mummenbrauer was previously senior director of business development at MorphoSys AG and before that, a senior executive at GSK Vaccines in Belgium.
Dr Mummenbrauer holds a PhD in tumour virology from Heinrich-Pette Institute, Leibniz-Institute for Experimental Virology in Hamburg, Germany.
Hookipa Biotech announced the appointment on 11 October 2016.
