Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB has appointed Armin Reininger, a specialist in haemophilia and haematology, to lead its global medical and scientific affairs teams. Dr Reininger joins Sobi from Baxalta, which is now part of Shire Plc. He has worked in both basic and clinical research and was a professor of anatomy at the Ludwig Maximillian’s University in Munich, Germany for seven years.
Sobi announced the appointment on 5 January 2017.
