Shire appoints former GSK executive to its board

Shire Plc, an Anglo-Irish specialty pharmaceutical company, has appointed David Stout to its board.

Mr Stout was previously president of GlaxoSmithKline’s pharmaceutical operations in the United States, Europe and Japan. He was also responsible for global manufacturing and biologics at GSK.
