Patrick van Berkel joins ADC Therapeutics

Patrick van Berkel, a former Genmab A/S executive, has been appointed as senior vice president for research and development at ADC Therapeutics S.a.r.l in Lausanne, Switzerland. Dr van Berkel worked at Genmab for more than nine years, most recently as vice president of chemistry, manufacturing and control and research and development. He is the author of at least nine antibody patents and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific papers.

ADC Therapeutics is developing antibody-drug conjugates.

ADC Therapeutics announced the appointment on 17 July 2012.
