Concept Life Sciences Ltd, recently acquired by Spectris Plc, has appointed a new principal scientist and a head of business development for Europe in order to strengthen its contract research services for the pharmaceutical industry. The new principal scientist is Michael Donaldson who will work in the company’s dermal department. Dr Donaldson was previously directo of biology for dermatology products at GlaxoSmithKline Plc.
Heading up business development for drug discovery services in Europe is Tim Calvert, formerly an executive of Aptuit LLC. Aptuit was acquired by Evotec AG in 2017.
