Marijn Dekkers becomes director of General Electric

Marijn Dekkers, chairman of the board of management of Bayer AG, has been elected a director of General Electric Company, the parent company of GE Healthcare. Mr Dekkers holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands and a master’s degree and PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Eindhoven.

GE announced the election on 12 June 2012.
