Mariana Kuras becomes chief technology officer at Ariana

Ariana Pharmaceuticals SA has appointed Mariana Kuras, formerly of Biosystems International, as its new chief technology officer. Dr Kuras will help direct Ariana’s development of non-statistical tools for analysing clinical data. She has also previously been a genomics and bioinformatics scientist at Pfizer Global Research and Development in France. Ariana is a 2003 spin-out of the Institut Pasteur in Paris.

The company announced the appointment on 21 August 2012.
