Lisa Amster Schoenberg, a pharmaceutical marketing consultant, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Vernalis Plc, effective 1 September. In this role she will advise the company on commercialising products in the US.
Ms Schoenberg worked as a marketing executive at AstraZeneca Plc from 1993 to 2013 including managing that company’s growth brands in the US. Ms Schoenberg holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she specialised in healthcare management and marketing.
Vernalis announced the appointment on18 August 2015.
