Lauren Silvernail, an executive at Revance Therapeutics Inc, has joined the board of Nicox SA which specialises in ophthalmic medicine. Ms Silvernail is chief financial officer and chief business officer at Revance which works in the fields of aesthetic medicine and dermatology. She previously worked at ISTA Pharmaceuticals Inc, an ophthalmic company acquired by Bausch + Lomb in 2012.
Ms Silvernail holds a Bachelor’s degree in biophysics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles, US. Separately, Nicox shareholders have renewed the terms of the board members Birgit Stattin Norinder and Michele Garufi, the chief executive.
Nicox announced the appointment on 17 May 2017.
