Finland-based Faron Pharmaceuticals Ltd has appointed Matti Karvonen as medical director with responsibility for products being developed for acute respiratory distress syndrome and cancer. Dr Karvonen has a background in clinical neurology and has worked at Roche, Biogen and Novartis.
Faron announced the appointment on 3 May 2016.
