The UK technology transfer organisation MRC Technology has appointed Edward Bliss as its general counsel and company secretary. Dr Bliss joins the organisation from Shire Pharmaceuticals Plc where he has been legal director. Prior to that, he was the general counsel and company secretary at Ark Therapeutics Group Plc.
Dr Bliss holds a degree in physiology and a PhD in neuroscience.
MRC Technology announced the appointment on 3 February 2015.
