Daphne Tsitoura, previously with GlaxoSmithKline Plc, has joined Allergy Therapeutics Plc as head of clinical science, a role in which she will lead the clinical development teams in Munich, Germany and Worthing, UK. Dr Tsitoura was previously principal physician in the respiratory therapeutic area at GSK’s Stevenage Research Centre in the UK. She has also been the principal immunologist at the Institute of Biomedical Research Academy of Athens and a senior fellow in immunology and allergy at Stanford University School of Medicine in the US.
Allergy Therapeutics announced the appointment on 4 November 2014.
