Ablynx NV of Belgium, which develops antibody-derived therapeutics, has appointed Johan Heylen, a former executive at GlaxoSmithKline Plc, as its chief commercial officer.
Mr Heylen has more than 20 years of experience in biopharmaceutical sales, marketing and business development at GSK, Laboratoires Servier SAS and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer Inc).
Ablynx announced the appointment on 18 November 2014.
